Fixed-scope phases
For work with clear deliverables: a website, an MVP, a brand system, an integration. Priced per phase with acceptance criteria agreed up front. Change requests are priced before work starts.
Our process
The same six steps run every engagement, whether it is a software platform, a brand or a growth program. What changes is the weight of each step, not the order.
1 to 2 weeks
We learn how the business works before proposing how to change it.
Stakeholder conversations, a review of the current systems, data and content, and a clear statement of the problem in business terms. You get a written brief and a recommendation on whether to proceed, and how.
1 to 2 weeks
What to build, in what order, and how we will know it worked.
Requirements, architecture, information architecture or channel plan depending on the work, a phased scope with acceptance criteria and a measurement plan agreed before anything is built.
2 to 4 weeks
Design made for the medium it will live in.
Design systems, interface and interaction design, brand and motion work, prototypes you can click through. Engineers review designs as they are made so nothing is designed that cannot be built.
Weekly increments
Working software every week, in your repositories and accounts.
Short cycles with reviewable releases, automated tests, code review and continuous integration. You see progress in a staging environment, not a status report.
Planned, not rushed
A launch plan, a rollback plan and a quiet first week.
Performance, accessibility and security checks, data migration, redirects, analytics verification, training and documentation. We stay close through the first days in production.
Ongoing
The work is measured against the plan, then improved.
Monitoring, analytics review, experiments and a backlog of improvements prioritized by impact. Retainers cover support, optimization and the next phase of the roadmap.
How we engage
We agree the model and the success metrics before any work starts, and we say no to engagements where we cannot define either.
For work with clear deliverables: a website, an MVP, a brand system, an integration. Priced per phase with acceptance criteria agreed up front. Change requests are priced before work starts.
For evolving products, growth programs and operations support. A defined monthly capacity, a shared backlog prioritized by impact, and a monthly review against the measurement plan.
A short, bounded engagement when the problem spans several areas or the right solution is unclear. You get a written recommendation you can execute with us or anyone else.
Principles
The people you meet in discovery are the people who design, build and ship. No handoff to a junior team after the contract is signed.
Describe the project, the problem or the idea. We reply within two business days with questions and a recommended first step.
You write to us
A few sentences is enough. Attach nothing you would not share with a new vendor.
We reply with questions
Within two business days, from one of the founders, with a recommended first step.
We agree on scope
A short discovery or a direct proposal with phases, deliverables and success metrics.
